Welcome

Thanks For Checking Out Our Website Today.  We Know You Have Questions!  We Have Done Our Best To Answer Some Of Those Questions Below.

What Can I Expect On My First Visit?

As you walk through our doors, you will be met with some people really excited to see you.  No need to grab coffee on your way to church, just help yourself to some coffee or water at the Connections Café.  Then as you make your way in for the service, feel free to sit wherever you like and get a “feel” for things.  As a first time visitor, all you need to do is sit back, relax and experience Velocity Church.

What Should I Wear?

Come just as you are!  Dress casually and comfortably.  We are more interested in you allowing God to make a change in you, than we are in you trying to change to please us.  In case you are wondering, our pastor usually dresses in jeans and a button up shirt on Sunday mornings.

What About My Kids?

We have separate areas for nursery and school age kids to enjoy their own service, up through grade 5. For the older ones in grades 6-12, they can experience things in the main service with you and they also have the opportunity for their own service on Sunday nights from 6-7:30pm.  We will do our best to help you to find the right locations for your children, get them checked in and you can even chat with the awesome volunteers in kids church or nursery. Or, if you chose, feel free to enjoy the morning service as a family.

The Bottom Line…

At Velocity Church, we want you to be excited as you move forward in your faith in God.  Maybe for you…you have no idea what faith means and that is okay. We are all on different paths, moving at different speeds but moving towards a common destination. You need to understand that Velocity Church is not about “speed” but “movement.” This isn’t a place that is about religion, it is a place about relationships, both with God, and each other. Our hope and prayer is that this is a place where you can come to experience meaningful worship, a personally relevant message, and develop relationships with real people and a real God, all while moving forward in your faith in God.
